This is a classic wildflower of southern Ontario's roadsides and meadows. In the garden it is a short-lived perennial, which blooms throughout the summer and into the fall and reseeds itself readily on open ground. It is a perfect plant for adding diversity to any naturalized meadow, prairie or tree planting site.
