Spreading Dogbane (Apocynum androsaemifolium)

Habitat: Forests, Fields and Open Areas

Flowers: White, Red/Pink

Attributes: Butterfly nectar plant, Pollinator friendly, Drought tolerant

Height: 30-90 cm (11-35 in)


Spreading dogbane has small bell shaped pink flowers that occur on top of the branch tips. In the wild it grows in open woodlands and woodland edges, but tolerates shade, part shade and sun.
