Michigan Lily (Lilium michiganense)

Height: 90-120 cm (35-47 in)


This is an attractive native lily that adapts well to flower gardens. The preference is full or partial sun, rich loamy soil, and moist conditions. An established plant, however, can withstand some drought. The large showy flowers attract hummingbirds and large butterflies, such as Greater Fritillary, Monarch, and Swallowtails.
