Nodding Wild Onion (Allium cernuum)

Flowers: White, Red/Pink

Attributes: Drought tolerant, Clay soil tolerant

Height: 30-60 cm (11-23 in)


A native onion, which is edible like green onions. This plant is rare in Ontario, restricted to Pelee Island. Because it is rare in southern Ontario it should not be planted in the wild.
