Prairie Petunia (Ruellia humilis)

Prairie Petunia is a low growing, but bushy plant that is primarily grown in dry, rock gardens. Although they share the same name it is not related to the garden petunia. Prairie petunia is not native to Ontario, but it is native in parts of the United States.
