Wild Senna (Senna hebecarpa)

Attributes: Drought tolerant, Clay soil tolerant

Height: 90-120 cm (35-47 in)

  

Wild Senna is a striking plant while in bloom with bright yellow petals and chocolate brown stamens. This species is very rare in Ontario, where it occurs in Chatham Kent, Lambton and Essex counties, in moist meadows, prairies and savannas.
